Java 22 to Java 25 Tutorials
The releases from Java 22 to the Java 25 long-term support version made Java simpler to start with and faster to run. They finalized the Foreign Function and Memory API, stream gatherers and the Class-File API, made small programs possible without a class declaration, allowed statements before super(), added scoped values, an ahead-of-time cache for faster startup, compact object headers and quantum-resistant cryptography. In this section you will find an overview of each release from Java 22 to Java 25, and a separate tutorial for each of its new features.
In case you are upgrading from Java 21, start with the Overview of New Features in Java 25. For the releases before these, see the Java 18 to Java 21 Tutorials.
